Occidental Nuevo Vallarta is a five-star all-inclusive resort in Riviera Nayarit, where a beautiful beach meets Nuevo Vallarta's best shopping and dining, about 25 minutes from the airport.

Its 274 modern rooms are spread over seven floors. There are three restaurants, a family pool and a children's pool, a kids club for ages 4–12, a tennis court and a multi-sport court, a fitness center and water sports. Royal Level guests get a private pool with hot tub and a premium bar.

The presentation

This rate is a promotion of the resort's vacation club (Villa Group (Villa del Palmar / Garza Blanca)). In return, both travelers attend a 90-minute presentation during the stay - never on the arrival or departure day. There is no obligation to buy; missing the presentation means the resort charges its full rate.

Fees, extras and changes

At the resort

The package price includes resort fee #1 ($75; $99 in the holiday season). On its verification call the resort also collects $30 per night per room, plus a $75 holiday fee for holiday-season stays.

Extra guests / nights

Extra adult $109 per night; extra night $249 (double occupancy); extra room $109 per adult per night. Room options: 2 adults + 2 children or 3 adults + 1 child (extra adult paid).

Changes & cancellations

Free cancellation or date change up to 21 days before check-in (the club's terms add a $50 administration fee to any change or cancellation). Within 21 days a penalty of one night applies to cancellations and date changes cost $50. No-show: full rate.
